RECOMMENDED PICKS
The recommended picks feature is possibly the most powerful feature currently available in any draft software application (and only Draft Dynamix has it!). The recommended picks are driven by our patent pending Dynamic Draft Value (DDV). Dynamic Draft Value calculates the relative value of players at each position based on players already drafted, players still available, your scoring rules, your draft position and the number of teams/owners in your league.

All the algorithms included in Dynamic Draft Value work behind the scenes and you are shown one simple Recommended Picks list as shown here (the number of players included in this list will vary depending on the progress of your draft):

Dynamic Draft Value includes twelve user-configurable metrics. Here are some key components used to drive your recommended picks list:

  • Average Draft Position (ADP): In short, the Draft Analyzer uses ADP to predict the future of your draft. The multi-billion dollar casino's in Las Vegas were built by betting on average outcomes, so we figured we should enable you to benefit from the law of averages as well. The Draft Analyzer uses ADP to calculate the total number of players at each position being selected between your current draft pick and your next draft pick.  We obtain ADP results from our partner Mock Draft Central.
  • Your Roster: DDV takes into account players you have already drafted. If you draft RBs in rounds one and two, the recommended picks list will automatically adjust and recommend different top players than if you drafted a QB and WR.
  • Your Draft Position: Depending on your draft position you will have to adjust what positions to select from to optimize your team.
  • Scoring Rules: All player rankings included in the Draft Analyzer utilize your personalized scoring rules.
  • Keeper Leagues: New for 2007, the recommended picks list adjusts to account for an unlimited number of Keepers.
  • Overlapping Bye Weeks: DDV tracks overlapping bye-weeks for you. As you draft players for your roster, DDV adjusts the player rankings accordingly (you can control this setting to define the "penalty" used for overlapping bye weeks).
  • Strength of Schedule, Player Durability, Player Consistency and more: For more information on the analytics included in DPV and DDV click here.
